چکیده
Dermatomyositis (DM) associated with anti-melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5 (anti-MDA5) antibody is a rare autoimmune disease. Anti-MDA5, also known as anti-CADM-140 antibodies. DM affects the skeletal muscle, skin, joints, and lungs form of idiopathic inflammatory myopathy (IIM). All dermatomyositis MDA5+ positive patients had rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease (RP-ILD). classified into 2 types, classic (CDM) clinically amyopathic (CADM). Anti-MDA5 antibody-positive RP-ILD without signs or CADM. in CADM antibodies to MDA5 has high mortality rate. diagnosed by rashes (Gottron’s papules Gottron’s sign heliotrope rash) anti-MDA5. includes acute/subacute pneumonia, which deterioration ILD. Immunosuppressives are effective agents for treatment anti-MDA5-positive

[Anti-MDA5 (melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5) antibody and dermatomyositis with rapidly progressive interstitial pneumonia].
Anti-MDA5 antibody is one of the dermatomyositis-specific autoantibodies and anti-MDA5-potsitive patients show characteristic clinical features, such as hypomyositis, high prevalence of acute/subacute interstitial pneumonia (A/SIP) with poor prognosis, hyperferritinemia and elevated hepatobiliary enzyme. We found that serum IL-6, IL-18, M-CSF and IL-10 were significantly higher and serum IL-12 ...

Anti-melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5 (MDA5) antibodies are specific indicators of patients with dermatomyositis, particularly clinically amyopathic dermatomyositis (CADM). CADM is occasionally accompanied by fatal, treatment-resistant, rapidly-progressive interstitial lung disease (RP-ILD). All previous reports showed that histopathological findings in RP-ILD with anti-MDA5 antibody-...

OBJECTIVE The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical manifestation and prognostic factors of anti-melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5 (MDA5) antibody-associated interstitial lung disease (ILD) with DM. METHODS Fourteen patients who presented with anti-MDA5 antibody and 10 patients with anti-aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase (ARS) antibody were enrolled. All patients were diagnosed as ha...

The aim of the present study was to clarify the clinical characteristics and prognosis of patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD) associated with amyopathic dermatomyositis (ILD-ADM). The study consisted of 14 consecutive patients with ILD-ADM. Patients were classified into two categories, acute/subacute and chronic forms, according to the clinical presentation of ILD. The clinical featur...

Dermatomyositis (DM) is a subset of idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIM) which is characterized by chronic inflammation of skin and muscle weakness, and often involving other organs, such as skin, heart, gastrointestinal tract, pulmonary, and joints [1-5]. The subtypes of DM include classical DM, which has muscle manifestations as well as a variety of cutaneous manifestations; another subse...
